PERU- EARTHQUAKE

SUPPORT FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN PERU

At least 510 people were killed in the quake and 1,500 were injured, overwhelming the few hospitals in Peru's southern desert region, and severely damaged the only highway, slowing trucks from other parts of Peru. In ICA, a badly damaged Peruvian town, people are living in the streets outside the rubble of what used to be their homes. Many use wood from their destroyed homes to try to stay warm at night; temperatures are in the 50s at night there. They're most fearful of aftershocks.

Please support the Peruvian citizens affected by this tragedy through BRIDGES/PUENTES a non-profit organization, SERVING AS A LIASON BETWEEN U.S. AND PERUVIAN ORGANIZATION WITH A COMMON HUMANITARIAN MISSION TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE LEAST FORTUNATE PEOPLE OF PERU.
